Travel Tips

 
 

Planning to attend the conference will include booking your flights ahead of time to get the best deals; making hotel reservations and adequate arrangements for a nanny or baby sitter for the kids etc. The following travel tips and information may also apply - 

  • Make at least two photocopies of all your travel documents; leave a copy in own country and travel with the original copies and the other photocopy.

  • Make a packing list to ensure you have all you need for the trip – Bible; writing materials; toothbrush; deodorant; other toiletries etc.

  • Nigeria usually records high temperatures during the November period, be sure to pack in more of cotton clothing and light suits for the conference.

  • Remember to keep your baggage within the airline’s baggage limit.

  • When departing (to or fro) arrive the airport with plenty of time for check-in and relaxation before your flight.

  • Plan to arrive at least a day early so you can get plenty of rest before the conference.

  • When you arrive the Muritala Mohamed International Airport in Lagos, look out for the IPPC 2008 information booth.

  • Keep your Conference Badge safe, it will serve to identify you at all IPPC information and Access Control stands.

  • While in Nigeria, only use IPPC approved dealers for all your finance needs; for more details, ask at the IPPC information booths.
